About Me

Pauline Goodal: Chatham, Ontario, Canada; "Take the leap and find you wings on the way down!" My mother says that and that's exactly what I've been doing ever since I started my own business seven years ago. I own a small chocolate company, Eve Chocolatier, based in the historic town of Chatham, Ontario, Canada. My husband and I moved from the bright lights of Toronto to our 100 year old house in the country and have been turning a renovation nightmare into our dream home whilst bustling through our exhaustingly busy days. This blog will be full of recipes from Ontario chefs, wonderful photos, information regarding local markets, profiles on artisan producers and gastronomic adventures through charming villages and farms were our province's culinary traditions have grown. I will also share my life as an eager entrepreneur, busy chocolatier and baker, food columnist and all-around seeker of the sweet things in life! Enjoy!
